the death of his son, Chalres. He says that Charles and his wife had
been out drinking and when they came home in a taxi, she went in the
house to get the money to pay the driver. After waiting for what Charles
considered to be a long time for her to return, he went to the house and
his wife met him with a pistol and shot him dead. See Indian-Pioneer
History, Vol. 78, p. 333-338. Jake Longtail, in his interview, says she
(Charles Longtaills wife) is a Cherokee Indian. There is a Fannie M
Humphrey on the Dawes Roll, #10087, Card # 4188. The Dawes index lists

Jonathan Gore McKenzie was tall, 61411, was dark with black hair and
handsome. He attended law school at Lebanon, Tenn.. He had a wonderful
sense of humor. Jonathan lived in Oklahoma City until 1938. Lived in
Little Rock, Ark. until 1950. Was in Scarsdale, NY until 1965. He was
with the National Board of Fire Underwriters until he retired to Little
Rock in 1965 and then to Blytheville, Ark. where his daughter lived.

certificates. Wilbur was a lawyer and rancher, 61411 tall, with brown
eyes and black hair. He had a good sense of humor and always drew a
crowd to visit. He loved farming, ranching, poetry, reading, hunting and
most especially fishing. Said there would be no wars if a man would go
fishing each day before he did anything else.

1957-said "with 7 children, his mother might have forgot." Confirmed 17
Feb-1957. Wilbur died of a massive coronary occlusion and
arteriosclerosis. Virginia Roberson death place from Marylen Williams.
She died of congestive heart failure and cardiac arrest. She also
suffered from severe Rheumatoid arthritis. Virginia was tall, 51811 with
black hair, brown eyes and fair skin. Her grandchildren called her
"Honey" because that is what Wilbur always called her. She graduated
from Pawhuska HS in 1924. She attended Pamona College in California for
1 year and also the Univ. of OK for I semester.

Vinita, Craig Co.,
OK and was buried in Blue

Craig Co., OK. Lacey Little McKenzie - Dawes Roll No. 2554 (NB), Card
No. 1976 (NE). Lacey was tall, 61211, and had hazel eyes. He attended
law school in Lebanon, Tenn. and became a judge in Craig Co., OK. He had
no children. Was an avid fisherman and had a wonderful sense of humor.
He was a borderline diabetic and died from cancer.
